Sehnert Bakery, 20"x16", Gouache & Ink on paper, 2008.I was going through some of my projects from 2008, and thought I would share this one with you. It was commissioned by a friend of the bakery as a gift to celebrate this landmark in McCook, Nebraska. This family business is a local gathering spot for music, friends, and great food. If you're in McCook be sure to stop at the Sehnert's Bakery & Bieroc Cafe and have some delicious pastries!

This was a fun piece to add lots of detail too. One of my favorite parts was the counter with all the yummy rolls and pastries.
The person who commissioned me to do this piece gave me lots of great photos to work from and I also visited the bakery and that helped to get a feel for the atmosphere and such.
it does look delicious I could grab a soda and pastry there for sure!
