Family Tree

I had the pleasure of doing a commission piece for a good friend this last week. The painting was a birthday present for her mother. Each main branch represented a different member of the family, the outermost parent branches guiding the inner branches.

This was a wonderful project to work on. It got me thinking about how elaborate a family tree with many generations would look like (I think I would need a larger piece of wood to paint on!).
