Oscar Legends and Weapon of Choice - Phase 2!

When I first heard the theme of "weapons" I thought of all the sweet weapons in Dungeons & Dragons,  or that ultimate weapon you seek in video games...and then I thought of it. My favorite board game of all time. CLUE.

And it's not just the board game--it's the movie, the books, and all the different incarnations of the game. It's a huge love of mine and so that is what I chose to pay tribute to in my painting.

Depending on what book you read or movie, sometimes the characters are a bit inconsistent. Mr. White changes quite a bit, sometimes a maid or cook, and Mr. Greens personality and occupation vary from piece to piece. I depicted them how I envision them, with their weapon of choice.

Ahhh wow all the green in this is gorgeous. I like how you went with a more full and broad view of the room rather than getting really up close and personal with the characters. It makes it all more subtle.

I came across the Hero Complex website by chance and as I was browsing came across this piece. I couldn't take my eyes off of it and had to buy it. Thank you for creating such an awesome piece of art depicting one of my favorite board games and movies. I can't wait to hang it on my wall.
