Art Blocks for Ghana - Auction Now Live!

Just a quick note to say that the Art Blocks for Ghana are now live on ebay.
Bidding will be open until March 20th. 

Proceeds will go towards providing boarding and education in Ghana, West Africa. 

NOTE: Facing the recent disaster in Japan and Asia, The Picture Book Project Foundation will be donating part of the proceeds from Art Blocks auction and events to help in the awareness and support Dice Tsutsumi's Efforts and Give2Asia.

Art Blocks for Ghana - NYC Fundraiser

Tomorrow is a preview for Art Blocks for Ghana where they will showcase works by top artists within the animation and illustration community to provide boarding and education for orphaned children in Ghana, West Africa.  Above is my piece that will be on preview that night.

The New York Preview Fundraiser will allow people to view the works in person before they go up for Online Auction March 12th.

There will also be food, drinks, artists, and silent auction items that you can bid on that night.

Art Blocks for Ghana

Welcome, 10 x 10, Gouache & Ink, 2010

Here is my piece for Art Blocks for Ghana - a non-profit organization raising funds to build a Children's Home in Ghana. They mailed participating artists blocks to paint on with the theme of "Home". Below is some more information about the event:

"Around 200 artists will create original artwork on a wooden panel around the theme HOME. This artwork will be entered into an online eBay Art Auction in March 2011.

There will be art show previews of the artwork during February / March 2011 in New York City and Los Angeles – these art shows will be open to the public. Profits from the online art auction will be donated to The Hopkins Foundation, a 501 c3 non-profit organization for the construction of a Children’s Home in Ghana."
