My Desk Is Clean!

It's one of those rare, scarcely seen events when my desk is clean and organized, so I decided to document it for all to see. This is my work area for my blogging, etsying, scanning, designing, and more!

See the amazing little shelf to the left? I built that yesterday and then went color crazy at Menards when I found out that there's the small tubs of paint for just $5! I also have my inspiration board where I pin all my favorite postcards and drawings. See anything you recognize?

Fisherman's Friend

So I was standing in the checkout line at Walgreen's and I looking at the candy's and other impulse items they want you to buy, and lo-and-behold there was this sweet looking tin, peeking out from behind random stuff! I couldn't resist. I got them and they turned out to be pretty great cough drops...thanks Mr. Fishing Boat and Captain!

Oh yeah, it snowed.

Almost Halloween!

Well it's almost Halloween and Matt's pumpkin has already died since this picture was taken two weeks ago. If your in the Hastings/Glenvil area i HIGHLY RECOMMEND Country Harvest Pumpkin Patch. However, if you are even thinking about going here, don't. Really bad. Really.

I'm still here!!

It's been a crazy summer, between graduating going to japan, moving to lincoln, and finding a job. Not to mention that I have a show coming up at the Graham Gallery, Hastings NE in Octobor with all new work. I am currently working to have my website up and running perhaps within the next month.

I have returned from the best trip ever! I was part of a Homestay program in Ozu, Japan, where I met so many wonderful people. This photo was taken in front of Kumamoto Castle by a friendly old tree.

New Computer!!!

Today I finally got a laptop. It is the sweetest thing ever, and the start of good things to come. Tonight I shall play some video games, and hopefully get some art done for a the christmas show.
