I've been thinking about woodland versions of my favorite video game characters, and been paintings some up in between projects. I will always be an old school Mario fan, and lately I've been discovering other NES and SNES games like Kirby and Earthbound (which I have always heard talked about but never played as a kid). So basically I've been thinking a lot about video games lately...

Starter Art at Bear and Bird Boutique

Tonight is the opening reception to Starter Art - Affordable art show where all works are $100 or LESS at Bear and Bird Boutique + Gallery in Lauderhill Florida.  Over 28 artists will have work on display, and I will have three original mini paintings in the show.

Original Art added to my Etsy Shop!

I've been adding more small original artwork to my Etsy Shop as we gear up towards the holiday season. These paintings are all hand painted by myself using gouache paint with ink. They come archivally matted, and are ready for gift giving (or to claim for yourself!).

 I have also been working on new Christmas card designs. These ones feature my woodland characters with a little holiday cheer. The original paintings are currently available in my shop here. The greeting cards featuring these new designs will be available in my Etsy shop this November.

New paintings in Shop!

Added a few new mini paintings to my shop today! These ones are inspired by summer foods, friends and good times. Watermelon is one of my favorite summer foods (along with Rainer Cherry's, yum!) and I've been eating it almost every week is seems lately. The bike painting below is based on a new bike that I have my eye on in a lovely shade of green.
