Terrible Yellow Eyes

I'm super excited to be invited by Cory Godbey to be part of Terrible Yellow Eyes. The website features artwork inspired by Maurice Sendak's - Where the Wild Things Are. It's great seeing how everyone interprets Sendak's work. I loved the scene in the book where his bedroom turns into a forest. Here's my contribution to the blog. Cory posts new entries every Friday. Go check it out!

Love this!! Your style is really great. That's my favorite moment in the book, too, so I painted my son's nursery with the forest growing in it. http://cassylee.wordpress.com/2008/11/26/where-the-wild-things-are-nursery/

Amazing work. It really speaks to the heart. I grew up with this book, and all of his works, and you have such beautiful creations.
